Our Academy

ValleyWide TaeKwonDo Academy is a family oriented Martial Arts institution, in Penticton, British Columbia, offering Tae Kwon Do training for men, women, and children of all ages.

There are many facets to Tae Kwon Do, and while physical conditioning and self defense skills are certainly advantages, there are other far-reaching benefits, including mental fitness, personal discipline and self confidence.

It all has to do with the development of the Tae Kwon Do spirit, which carries over into all aspects of a person's life.

"Do" in Korean implies a philosophical way of approaching life - a means by which understanding is achieved.

Now accepting registrations for the 2015-2016 school year.

Our Focus

Our focus is in developing a strong mind, body and spirit that is enhanced by traditional morals and values, in a fun, friendly, and challenging environment.

Tae Kwon Do seeks to improve a person mentally, physically, and spiritually: The physical techniques strengthen the body and improve coordination and timing; the development of concentration strengthens the mind and improves mental attitudes.
